A capable, effective and strong civil society is a foundational pillar of democratic government. CDG works with Civil Societies, Non state actors and others to build the capacity of representative institutions to communicate with citizens and respond to their concerns, to shape the government decisions, laws and policies that reflect national and citizen interests, and to oversee the work of the executive branch, security providers, justice department, particularly in the public service and implementation of the national budget.
