Civil Society

A capable, effective and strong civil society is a foundational pillar of democratic government. CDG works with Civil Societies, Non state actors and others to build the capacity of representative institutions to communicate with citizens and respond to their concerns, to shape the government decisions, laws and policies that reflect national and citizen interests, and to oversee the work of the executive branch, security providers, justice department, particularly in the public service and implementation of the national budget.

Facilitating cooperation between different sectors to maximize resources and expertise in addressing climate-related challenges.

Promote Community-Led Initiatives

Empowering local communities to take ownership of climate action through participatory decision-making and sustainable practices.

Mobilize Financial and Technical Resources

Securing funding and technical support for climate adaptation and mitigation efforts at the grassroots level.
